Leche Flan

Leche Flan are always part of Filipino parties. It won’t be really complete without it.
This is one of my tried and tested recipe. I assure you this one works because I have used this recipe in more than once occasion with great success.
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
8 egg yolks
2 egg whites
1 can condensed milk
1 cup water
dayap rind
Cooking Instructions:
- Caramelize sugar by stirring continuously over medium heat until melted. Pour into flan mould and tilt it over the sides.
- Beat egg yolks and egg whites slightly. Add condensed milk, water, dayap rind.
- Strain and pour mixture into the caramel lined flan mould.
- Place mould in another bigger saucepan filled with 1 inch of water.
- Bring to boil and simmer for 40 minutes or until firm.
- Cool before removing flan from mould.
Now enjoy but eat in moderation!
