I think it was a joke in bad taste. But it is kind of difficult for me to get mad about it because my grandmother was a real mail order bride. And my she and my grandfather had a very good life together. Anyway, most filipinas that I've known in my life have been hard workers (including my wife) and worked their way up rather than married some rich American to get ahead. And where I live, there are lots of pinoys! Hmmm … I think it was a joke in bad taste. But it is kind of difficult for me to get mad about it because my grandmother was a real mail order bride.
