My mom recently moved to Canada with her husband. She’s a bit lonely there because they live in the outskirts of British Columbia and she has not met any friends yet. I feel for her. I know it can be really lonely. I have experienced that down feeling too when I moved here to Asia and left all my friends in Europe.
I told her to find a hobby that will keep her busy like blogging perhaps….I know that helped me a lot easing my loneliness.
Her birthday is coming up, they are thinking of visiting our relatives in the U.S and was actually checking out if they can afford to book Orlando vacations so she can forget her loneliness. They don’t know yet…if only I had extra money I would buy it for them, she deserves it.
But I have my own big expenses coming up so for now I can just wish her the best. I do hope she meets some friends soon.

You can ask you’re mom to look for a community center closer to her place…usually a community center have a few programs to introduce to your mom some hobbies like baking, cake decorating, sewing etc…i did that with my Mom aswell — and she can meet and make new friends
