I was talking with a girlfriend about being healthy, she have mentioned that she’s been thinking of going on a diet ( again) and was thinking of taking lipo 6 black to help her with it. I told her that I was once like her, always looking for a way to lose weight. Now I just eat healthy food and don’t really worry about my weight anymore.
There are some things in life you just don’t scrimp on even during trying times when everyone has to control spending. One of these things is food; particularly healthy food.
Preparing nutritious meals for your family without spending a lot can be tricky, but frugal moms have developed some ways to cope.
Here they are:
1. Plan your meals on a weekly basis so that you know exactly what to buy when you go grocery shopping. You can plan to have potatoes twice a week (mondays and Wednesdays), and this will be your main source of carbohydrates for the day. Then, the rest of the week, you can plan to cook meals with rice or pasta.
If you do this regularly, you won’t have to panic during meal times and end up ordering pizza.
2. Cook meat in advance and then store in the freezer. You can place cooked meat pieces inside foodgrade plastic so you can thaw each batch individually whenever you cook.
3. If your location is suitable for gardening, grow your own vegetables. Even if you can only grow herbs that you can use to season your food, the savings will add up. Besides, growing your own vegetables means you can control the use of pesticides and fertilizers, making the food you serve completely organic.
4. Use coupons. Look for coupons online and on the Sunday papers so you can save cash when you go grocery shopping.
5. Subscribe to your favorite store’s mailing list so you can get notified when they have in-store sales during the holidays. Usually, you can buy pasta and other storable food in bulk so you won’t have to for a few months at least.
And lastly, prepare a lunch box for your husband or your kids during the weekdays to save on lunch money. Doing all these will not only help you and your family to be health but it will also save you alot of money.
