I have been blogging for more than a year now and I must say I am pretty surprised on how things turned out. I started to blog out of boredom and loneliness so I blogged to get my emotions out and to my surprise, several people can relate to what I feel. Through blogging, I have made friends all over the world.
Blogging became a part of my daily life and later on has brought me an extra source of income. I think I am earning more than what a call center agent in the Philippines make and the wonderful part is that I don’t even need to commute 
!
But don’t think it’s easy. If you want to earn, you also have to learn. I didn’t earn right from the start. I learned little by little from blogging friends on how I can monetize my blogs. Your blog has to have some presence in the web if you want to earn meaning you have to have visitors.
So how do you know if your blog has presence, there are lots of free online seo tools you can use to check the stats of your site. Also read blogs like Problogger and Daily Blog Tips to learn more about blogging.
