When you are pregnant people gives you a lot of advice about your pregnancy, especially unsolicited advices. I’m sure you’ve all pregnant women have experienced this.
Am I right or am I right?
Here are some of the popular wives tales:
- Some women who suffer from heartburn during the pregnancy, are told that this would mean your baby will be born with a head full of hair.
- One wives tale says that if you are having severe morning sickness, it is a sign you are having a girl.
- Just before the end of your first trimester, the doctor will check your baby’s heart rate, to make sure the baby is doing fine. They say if the heart rate is high it is a girl and a low one is a boy.
- How is your baby sitting? This old tale says that if you are carrying low is a boy or if you are carrying high it is a girl, .
Wives tales are fun to know but keep in mind these aren’t really facts. Don’t go buying stuff for your baby’s room just because one of these myths told you, you were going to have a boy. Instead spend your time reading pregnancy and parenting books that contains real facts so you can prepare better for your baby.
