One holiday which is so highly anticipated by college students all over is spring break. It gives them the promise of relentless fun and endless partying. Spring break parties are, however, more often than not seen in a bad light. The mere mention of “spring break” sends unpleasant images to one’s mind. Thoughts of bikini-clad college girls drowning themselves like fish make many a mom and dad worried sick. Spring break doesn’t always have to be synonymous to living-on-the-edge behavior. There are other (cheaper and safer) alternatives you may want to consider:
Have a pool party at home. Get your friends together for a day of fun. Enlist their help in bringing food for the barbecue and drinks. You just have to make sure to get the salt cell in your pool replaced, so you’re sure that you’ll be swimming in clean water.
Have a movie marathon. This is probably the cheapest and most enjoyable activity ever. You simply have to lounge around on some beanbags or a huge couch, and you’re good to go. Get a varied selection of movies, so your friends won’t get bored. Drinks and finger food will be a prerequisite here.
Go stargazing. When night falls, you and your friends can gather round on your condo rooftop and just bask in the pool of stars above you. Drinks and conversation will surely get things going.
It doesn’t take much to enjoy spring break at home. With a few creative ideas, you’ll have just as much as those partying at the beach. You’ll be much safer too!

We don’t really have Spring break in the PH. We only have summer breaks and that is it. :/ But the partying like there’s no tomorrow exists as well.
