I feel like I’ve been packing forever for the move, and now that the actual move is just days away, we still got a lot to do. Did I tell you that I don’t really like packing? Okay, maybe I did already and “don’t like” is a euphemism for how I feel about packing things. A lot of odds and ends are still waiting to be segregated and determined if it should go with us or not, plastic knobs and screws included. I wish I could sleep tonight and tomorrow morning everything is magically packed into their respective boxes. I know, I know. Real life doesn’t work that way. But don’t you wish it does sometimes?

Pregnancy and Wives Tales

When you are pregnant people gives you a lot of advice about your pregnancy, especially unsolicited advices. I’m sure you’ve all pregnant women have experienced this.

Am I right or am I right?

Here are some of the popular wives tales:

Some women who suffer from heartburn during the pregnancy, are told that this would mean your baby will be born with a head full of hair.
One wives tale says that if you are having severe morning sickness, it is a sign you are having a girl.
Just before the end of your first trimester, the doctor will check your baby’s heart rate, to make sure the baby is doing fine. They say if the heart rate is high it is a girl and a low one is a boy.
How is your baby sitting? This old tale says that if you are carrying low is a boy or if you are carrying high it is a girl, .

Wives tales are fun to know but keep in mind these aren’t really facts. Don’t go buying stuff for your baby’s room just because one of these myths told you, you were going to have a boy. Instead spend your time reading pregnancy and parenting books that contains real facts so you can prepare better for your baby.

Eating Galore in June

When I arrive in Manila in June, I intend to eat all the food I have been craving to eat but cannot find or are too expensive here here in Singapore. I would like to eat at Bubba Gump, Dampa and Itallianis.

For once I don’t need to worry about my waistline because I am pregnant Weeee! If I weren’t expecting though, I would seriously have to find apidexin to help me lose weight after eating at all these places.
