For many years I have tried finding the best face creams that goes with my skin but to no avail. My face gets irritated most of the time so I gave up looking.
One day I looked at my face and was shocked at what I saw. My gosh I am getting old. I don’t look as I used too. So then I decided it’s time I take care of my skin again but this time I would like to try the natural approach.
I came across this recipe for facial cream online and I will be trying this in the coming days. I’ll let you know if it’s good.
Homemade Facial cream
This mask combines avocados, which are rich in Vitamin E, with carrots, which are high in beta-carotene and antioxidants, and cream, which is high in calcium and protein. These ingredients will rebuild skin collagen, improve tone and texture, and fade age spots.
* 1 avocado, mashed
* 1 carrot, cooked and mashed
* 1/2 cup heavy cream
* 1 egg, beaten
* 3 tbsp honey
Combine all ingredients in a bowl until smooth. Spread gently over your face and neck, and leave in place 10-15 minutes. Rinse with cool water and follow with your favorite toner.

I have been complaining on my other blog that I have gained weight. I don’t really eat a lot so I don’t know why I don’t lose the extra kilos I have gained in the last months no matter how much walking I do. It’s really pretty frustrating. I mean some people even take bodybuilding supplements just to get some body mass and here I am trying to lose them. Life is so unfair, right?

I have been blogging for more than a year now and I must say I am pretty surprised on how things turned out. I started to blog out of boredom and loneliness so I blogged to get my emotions out and to my surprise, several people can relate to what I feel. Through blogging, I have made friends all over the world.
Blogging became a part of my daily life and later on has brought me an extra source of income. I think I am earning more than what a call center agent in the Philippines make and the wonderful part is that I don’t even need to commute 
!
But don’t think it’s easy. If you want to earn, you also have to learn. I didn’t earn right from the start. I learned little by little from blogging friends on how I can monetize my blogs. Your blog has to have some presence in the web if you want to earn meaning you have to have visitors.
So how do you know if your blog has presence, there are lots of free online seo tools you can use to check the stats of your site. Also read blogs like Problogger and Daily Blog Tips to learn more about blogging.

I am always thinking about the future. I want my future children to have a good life but don’t get me wrong I don’t intend to spoil them. I just want to provide them with the basic needs like shelter, food and good education.
To do this we need to be wise and invest my money well. According to my husband, some good investments that he know of are properties, government bonds and gold or gold coins. We do have one or two of these…let’s just hope it really brings back lots of earnings in the future.

It is almost Chinese new year here at Singapore and I’m expecting a very long holiday since it will start this weekend. I’ll take this chance to do some research around the Internet for some long distance moving company. It’s actually similar to the old company that we hire to move our things from city to city, the difference is, this time it’s moving our personal things from country to country.
We both think that were going to save a lot if were going to bring most of our things rather than buying it the Philippines. A friend of mine suggested try selling them online,though he has a point, we are still going to keep all the things that we have right now, not because of the price value but because of the sentimental value.

Find a good agent and make sure you know what you are buying for many of the agent won’t utter the word life and the next thing you know, you end up buying some other insurance product. I think I am coming down with something. My body is aching all over. I wonder if this is what people with rheumatoid arthritis experience. Maybe a good massage is the answer to this problem and thinking about it now I haven’t had a massage for such a long time. I would love to spend a whole day in a spa. If only I somebody will sponsor me a an all expense paid spa day…

I love spiffing up the house once in a while, in preparation for friends who will come and visit, for a special occasion, or just because. It makes the house easier to look at (my eyes strain a lot at dirty dishes sitting in the counter or a stack of unfolded clothes) and makes me feel less stressed. It’s a good thing hubby stopped with his cigars even before I met him , otherwise it would be another thing to clean up after. Now that we are having our own house built, I think I would make decorating it my next mission.

I am excited to start decorating our soon to be new home in the Philippines. Over the years we have collected many art pieces from the places where we have lived and visited, so I will definitely be using this items to decorate our place. Also I am thinking on what to use on the windows, roller blinds or curtains…well I can better decide on that when we are already there.
